Breanne Sinclair:
Grandmother dies from neglect in Calgary long-term care centre

Wyonne Sommers died in October of last year of an infection of in her bloodstream that she developed at the Mckenzie Town Continuing Care (MTCC) facility.

“At the time we kind of looked at it like a blessing in disguise,” says Sinclair of finding the MTCC. “But it all kind of went down hill from there. That’s where we started to see the neglect.”
